The CCP Network – Helping SoccerAid for Unicef 2019

Supporting SoccerAid for Unicef 2019 – The Contact Centre Panel Mobilises Its Network

SoccerAid for Unicef 2019

Soccer Aid for Unicef brings together footballing legends and top showbiz names to join forces and raise money for the world’s leading children’s organisation, Unicef.

For the first time, the 2019 game will be hosted at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, with the match and the exciting match-day build up broadcast live in a multi-hour primetime weekend slot on ITV, watched by millions of viewers across the UK. Since launching in 2006 Soccer Aid has raised in excess of £30 million to help children living in danger.

How Will the Contact Centre Panel and our Network Of Contact Centres Help?

Unicef UK needs call centres and volunteers on the night to help manage incoming donations from supporters by telephone.

In 2018 there were almost 10,000 telephone donations made on the night. This is Unicef UK’s most vital source of income and will help us to raise millions of pounds to help keep even more children safe from danger in 2019.

The 2018 show peaked at 6 million viewers and resulted in a huge volume of calls and donations – and the organisers are expecting even more in 2019.  Contact Centre Panel’s Network will join Soccer Aid for Unicef by supporting the telethon and taking nationwide calls from the public wishing to make donations.

About Unicef UK

“Unicef is the world’s leading organisation for children, promoting the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.  Unicef UK raises funds to protect children in danger, transform their lives and build a safer world for tomorrow’s children.

As a registered charity we raise funds through donations from individuals, organisations and companies and we lobby and campaign to keep children safe. Unicef UK also runs programmes in schools, hospitals and with local authorities in the UK.”
